Product Associate (e-commerce) 

We are looking for a communicative individual with an interest in the management of web products combined with technology applied to eCommerce. The individual must have solid Microsoft Excel abilities and great interpersonal skills. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a long term growth! 

You will engage with internal stakeholders, current and prospective clients to better understand business objectives and key success factors, and will work with the Creative and Digital teams to propose digital solutions to meet those objectives. The Product Associate role is a newly created position that will play a key role in driving digital product strategy, requirements, and solution planning to meet business objectives while also improving the user experience and agency product offering.

What you will be doing:

You will be supporting design, development, and implementation efforts for feature applications and website implementations, specific to e-Commerce within the fashion, home, beauty and luxury lifestyle verticals. You will work with clients at various levels, across all channels of business, and with strategic third-party partners to provide comprehensive solutions that meet our clients’ functional and non-functional requirements. 

  • Own data entry for Product Management team.
  • Support Product Manager and Business Development teams in execution of RFP’s 
  • Meet with 3rd parties to demo 3rd party features and applications (primarily related to Shopify) 
  • Research and Review of new 3rd party features and applications (primarily related to Shopify)  
  • Support in design and development of agency products specific to luxury verticals
  • Management of product data and product libraries on day to day basis
  • Develop, implement, and maintain change control of feature and product libraries 
  • Support in development and management of stored procedures, views, and functions used for proposal development
  • Assist in providing analytics for product features (success stories, quality, implementation efforts, etc.) 
  • Provide product data management support to users
  • Create and maintain technical documentation specific to products and feature applications (specific to agency and 3rd party partner products) 
  • Discovery and documentation of RFP requirements
  • Technology assessments and problem resolution
  • Coordinate solution expectations with the Business Analyst(s) assigned to the project
  • Provide product support related to the implementation of feature components and applications as appropriate
  • Work closely with Development and Business Analysis teams to identify areas of opportunity and new technologies that can provide an improved user experience, superior digital offering or more efficient internal processes to drive cost savings
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitive shifts and new opportunities
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams, including UX, creative/development, analytics, email, SEM, SEO and marketing operations, as well as marketing and external resources to deliver on objectives
  • Analyze product successes and return on investment (ROI) to incorporate insights into future product planning

Desired Skill Set:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 1-2 years experience in a development environment or ecommerce role preferred 
  • Experience working with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, etc) is a plus
  • Experience working with system integrations (ERP, WMS, POS) is a plus 
  • Experience working with Google suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) 
  • Knowledge of fashion, home, beauty, lifestyle industries is a big plus
