As the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pursues its 2030 Vision, education is at the very heart of development plans. Our client is looking for enthusiastic and committed English language teaching professionals to deliver English at a well-established institutions in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah.

The roles are suitable for qualified ESL/EFL teachers that have at least two years of teaching experience. Previous experience of teaching in the Kingdom is not a prerequisite but a sense of adventure is!

Main duties and responsibilities:

Teachers will be required to prepare and deliver general, academic and/or corporate English language classes (for intermediate-upper intermediate level students) using a communicative and student-centered approach.

40 hour work week, Sunday-Thursday, with 24 contact periods.

Contracts will be fixed term from late August 2019 to mid-May 2020, with renewals/extensions possible by mutual consent.

In addition to classroom teaching, you will be required to:

Create and maintain weekly lesson plans in-line with the curriculum and pacing schedule.

Use educational technologies to create and conduct engaging and interactive lessons.

Administer, invigilate and correct periodic assessments.

To be eligible for consideration candidates possess a native speaker level of language competence.

UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA Degree Holder plus CELTA or TEFL or TESOL Certificate (with at least 120 hours training and observed teaching practice. Online awards are not accepted).

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience after gaining your ESL qualification.


Good IT skills, and a comfort with using technology in the classroom.

Demonstrable cross-cultural awareness and understanding.

Commitment to teamwork.

Ability to be flexible in the workplace and respond positively to change.

Package Details:

Fix term contract from late-August 2019 until mid-May 2020, with the possibility of renewal

SAR 11,000 monthly basic salary, tax-free

Furnished housing (not shared), utilities and transportation provided (Cash allowances available for those who prefer)

30 days paid leave plus public holidays (Prorated)

Out bound flight at start of the contract and a return flight at the end of the contract is also provided
