Our client is an educational services company which has offices in 6 countries, including a newly opened branch office in Knowledge Park, Dubai. We are looking to hire a Bookkeeper/Receptionist to support their operations in Dubai.


Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills in English and have had previous experience with bookkeeping/accounting, preferably in a customer service focused industry.


Overview

This position will provide bookkeeping, as well as general administrative support, to a small team in the Dubai office.

The role will require excellent communication and administrative skills.The successful candidate must have a passion for learning, as they will need to develop a good understanding of our company, business model and partner institutions as well as becoming knowledgeable about the education industry in the English speaking world.


Experience and Skills

Technical competences: You must be confident in the use of MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel) and have experience of Quickbooks.

Experience: 5 years in a bookkeeping/accounting role.

Personal skills: Outstanding communications skills in English, both verbal and written, are critical to this role. On occasions you will be client facing, and so an undertanding of customer service is also required. You must be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and with a high attention to detail.

Qualifications: A Bachelor degree with a specialisation in Commerce/Accounting or similar


Remuneration & Working Model

Working hours are 9.00am-6.00pm Sunday-Thursday, and 9.00am-3.00pm on Saturdays

Salary: Up to AED5,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience

Preference will be given to candidates on a spouse's visa
