The Supply Chain Project Manager will have a background within a supply chain environment either from industry (preferably blue chip) or as a consultant. The Supply Chain Project Manager will be required to work with client organisations to enhance their Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Demand Planning, and S&OP. Project Management experience in a team environment is required. Job location is client dependent and is considered as remote, so 100% travel availability is also required. May include travel to the UK / Europe.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify clients’ problems, opportunities, and risks associated with Supply Chain performance. Gather and analyse relevant data, conduct client interviews and workshops
  • Develop and evaluate alternative strategies to achieve specific savings objectives. Develop reports and performance metrics and present findings to client teams
  • Work with clients to develop and implement tools, systems, and process solutions and improvements. Provide training, coaching, and process documentation
  • Assess Supply Chain Processes in search for optimisation potential
  • Design future processes and derive the necessary functional requirements
  • Manage and execute projects focusing on strategic supply chain flow optimisation
  • You will be part of larger team and manage projects consisting of fellow consultants, client representatives and potentially suppliers
  • Active project management from process design through implementation, Go- Live and beyond
  • Coordination with suppliers and internal clients
  • Shaping, designing and driving strategic change programmes
  • Translating raw data into information and actionable insight
  • Innovating within client processes and operating models to drive financial effectiveness
  • Managing analytical activities within the team

  • Experience in project management
  • Excellent communication and presentation ability including PowerPoint expertise
  • Familiarity with process mapping
