We are looking for a proven leader in consulting to develop our Digital & Strategy (D&S) practice to respond to current demand and to be key part of the team driving this area by defining our capability focus, our go to market approach and delivering to clients.

This is principally a client delivery role.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivering digital and strategy and related projects
  • Defining the objectives, focus and development activities of the service line
  • Taking the lead with major clients for all aspects of our delivery and providing the senior technical lead on projects
  • Being visible in the industry by authoring papers and presenting at events
  • Supporting the D&S team in converting opportunities to prospects and prospects to projects
  • Lead in shaping solutions to client needs, preparing and presenting proposals
  • Facilitate workshops and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders
  • Working to deadlines in managing the delivery of projects
  • Delivering the recognised quality and value for our clients
  • Help our clients develop digital strategies and embrace new ways of working
  • Use BearingPoint tools to help clients understand their digital maturity and demonstrate the benefits of digital transformation to develop compelling business cases for change
  • Building the team of experienced consultants for the practice
  • Produce high quality deliverables, providing key input to shape the strategic direction and support the design of propositions.
  • Conduct horizon scanning for future market trends within digital & strategy and help the practice develop new propositions and go to market plans to respond to changing trends
  • Conduct account management activities during project delivery
  •  Manager teams of people for the effective delivery of projects
  •  Manage BearingPoint resources and being responsible for the personal and professional development
  •  Supporting the Head of the Digital & Strategy service line in shaping and developing internal capabilities (e.g. reviewing and updating D&S curriculum, skills and capability assessments, etc.)


  • A proven track record in awareness of cross sector experiences in consulting, both selling and delivering, across multi-sectors in one or more of our chosen capabilities – Advanced Analytics, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), TOM (target operating model), Organisational Design, Operational Effectiveness, Technology Enabled Change – adopting a business-outcome approach to delivering consulting engagements.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of digital transformation, operational strategy and design projects
  • Previous consulting experience, ideally in a top tier management consulting organisation
  • Exposure and knowledge of Robotics and Automation, Intelligent Automation
  • A recognised industry expert in the area of digital strategy consulting
  • Demonstrable operational experience of defining and delivering digital and strategy advisory projects to recognised ‘blue chip’ companies
  • Ability to shape new offerings, building on to the current BearingPoint services
  • Demonstrate a high-level of understanding of how and where digital transformation thinking can create business change and competitive advantage
  • Have the experience and presence to work comfortably with both the Board and functional delivery teams
  • Be able to negotiate and engender high levels of trust with a client – at the business development stage and during the project
  • Leverage existing relationships and contacts to create business
  • Build and lead multi-functional teams to deliver for our clients
  • Experience of managing teams and coaching
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how IT and Digital is changing businesses operations today – and could do tomorrow
  • Develops good relationships with senior business leaders based on trust and respect
  • Ideally, a degree from a recognised university and subsequent qualifications / professional recognition in business
  • Ability to think in a logical and structured way
  • A demonstrable passion for digital
  • A creative approach to problem solving and be intellectually curious
  •  Strong communication skills, excellent business writing skills and confidence presenting
  • Competent project management skills, following business processes
  • A self-starter mentality with a desire to apply initiative and new ideas, comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
  • Be open minded, assertive, cooperative, strong sense of team, vision driven.
  • Strong commercial acumen within the field of management consulting
