Growing multi-state construction company based in Central Oregon seeks full-time Controller. We are a growing company looking for someone to fill our current needs and grow with our future needs.

Controller Duties:

Month end closing and financial statements

Maintain acount reconciliations

Oversee the work of the Accounting/Admin Assistant including A/P, A/R and billing.

Manage timecard and P/R function (processed via 3rd party)

Ability to review construction and rental contracts and matters that effect billing and cash flow. Can assist with contract administration duties as needed

Familiar with various regulations such as Prevailing Wage, Certified Payroll, Union Labor and benefit rules, multi-state overtime regulations and workers compensation rules

Prepare state sales/use tax returns, property tax returns, and misc. legal filings

Cash management, day to day banking and forecasting

Collaborate with company's CPA's on annual reviews and tax returns

Administer company's insurance policies and certain company benefit plans including 401k plan

Project cost accounting including budget vs actual and the set up/tracking of jobs and cost codes in accounting software

Various financial analysis and review of estimates

Some office manager duties including overseeing 3rd party I.T. provider

Fixed assest tracking
