Byron Recruiting is seeking qualified and experienced ESL / EAL teachers for a number of teaching jobs in SouthEast China. We are looking for English Language Teachers for every age group / level, including kindergarten, primary, middle school, secondary and college as well as for a number of language training centers. We are also seeking teachers with ESL leadership experience.
We have new ESL jobs starting every month in 2019.
- Must be a Native English speaker from the US, Canada, Ireland, the UK, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- At least two years of working experience (not necessarily in teaching)

- A TEFL or TESOL certificate (or equivalent)
We are seeking ESL / EAL Teachers to instruct and support Second Language Learners for schools in the Guangzhou area and Wuhan region of China. A curriculum and all text books will be provided by the school but teachers are encouraged to bring their own flare and approach in order to effectively deliver each days lesson and to make meaningful connections with their students. Working hours will be between 33 and 40 hours per week (18 teaching contact hours + office time), Monday to Friday. Class time is typically between 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. with up to 2 hours for lunch. A typical day includes 3 to 5 classes.
A variety of schools in locations such as Wuhan, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Huizhou, Foshan, Guizhou Province and Hunan province require teachers at the moment. We will help you find the best ESL teaching opportunity based on your experience / qualifications, desired location and the current needs of each school / location.
Salary and benefit package:
- A competitive salary of 14,000 RMB to 24,000 RMB per month

Native English Speakers who do not hold a valid TEFL Certificate can also secure a teaching job in the 7,500 - 8,500 RMB range.
