Job Description

  • Be responsible for the quality of the deliverable of a project

  • Use business analysis skills to support the gathering of requirements for system and process changes using relevant techniques and templates.

  • Use analytical skills and knowledge of systems and processes to identify the problems and come up with solutions.

  • Be able to scale up and down the necessary procedures and documentation according to the scope and scale of work.

  • Fearlessly ask the questions needed to figure out what gaps are there in a solution and make sure nothing is falling between the cracks.

  • Invest the time to learn every aspect of the supported business and have an interest in improving in.

  • Understands that not everything is defined up front, deals with change well and puts in the time that is needed to get the job done; “do what it takes” attitude.

  • Work both individually and as part of a team to achieve organizations goals.

  • Have a willingness to project manage some initiatives where a PM is not assigned.

  • Become a subject matter expert and be able to support the system’s and solution’s users. Some of this will be off-hours support

  • Weekend and afterhours work is required

  • Some travel may be required

Experience & Skills:

  • Must haves:

    • Strong Analytical skills

    • Active person who shows initiative; “on their feet”

    • Enjoy a challenge

    • Previous experience interpreting and documenting scope, impact, business requirements, test cases and training documents using the collection of appropriate tools and templates.

    • Prior experience conducting requirements analysis, system analysis, testing and training.

    • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).

    • Experience working with at least 2 of Transportation, Warehousing, Fleet management technologies.

    • Experience working with Mobile tools deployed for Transportation, Warehousing or Fleet management.

    • Completion of Post-secondary degree in an analytical specialization (Engineering, Sciences or Business with IT concentration preferred).

  • Nice to haves:

    • Post graduate degree

    • Logistics industry certifications

    • IT industry certifications
