Canada Cartage Logistics Solutions located in Mississauga is seeking candidates for the position of Logistics Coordinator.


The primary responsibilities of this position are:

Work closely with customers and carriers to ensure excellent service levels while maintaining healthy profit margins and revenue growth. Keep and expand existing customer base and add new customers by following sales plan.


Details of the Positions:

  • Coordinating LTL and TL pickups and deliveries
  • Cost controls
  • Carrier Selection and rate negotiations
  • Carrier relationships
  • Load planning, routing
  • Inside sales related duties
  • Make joint sales calls as required
  • Customer service including tracking and tracing
  • Enforce carrier compliance
  • POD reconciliation
  • Carrier invoice auditing
  • Trouble shooting
  • Planning with warehouse/operations
  • Other Duties as assigned
  • Order entry including costing and revenue allocation for invoicing purposes
  • Knowledge of Oracle preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to build excel reports


Core Competencies and Qualifications:

  • 2 + years of broad experience in the transportation industry
  • Possess strong administrative skills
  • Proficient computer and excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills for both internal and external interaction
  • Post-Secondary Education or industry accreditation preferred (CITT, P.Log)
