As the Key Relationships Intern for the UK, you’ll provide support in establishing our UK operations through research and development projects, special initiatives, data mapping and administrative tasks. You’ll be based in New York but work closely with our colleagues in London bringing charity: water to a new market.
* You'll support the setup of our UK office, working with our colleagues in London to establish and effectively manage systems and processes, ensuring the smooth running of our first international expansion effort.
* You'll take on research and development projects that will inform the ongoing strategic development of the UK operation.
* You'll support on the development of fundraising materials and a variety of internal and external communications projects.
* You'll support on a range of administrative tasks, including updating our UK pipeline management system, setting meetings and calendarizing activities, and budget management.
You're a multitasking machine.
You are eager to learn and happy to turn your hand to anything. You enjoy variety and can jump from delving into a spreadsheet to curating a beautiful presentation deck in a heartbeat.
You're a star communicator.
You're as comfortable communicating face to face as you are over the phone, email or google hangout. You’re not afraid to ask questions to ensure understanding and you can read visual as well as verbal cues.
You're independent yet flexible.
You achieve results with little supervision. You aspire to own projects while also following our staff's critique and leadership.
You're curious & committed.
You're an undergraduate student or recent graduate excited to learn more about working in the non-profit space. You're not daunted by the unknown and you’re willing to throw yourself into learning a new sector and a new market.
You'll start in May and commit until August at the charity: water office in New York. We'll need you for 20 hours a week and in the office at least two and a half days a week.
