Hands-on integration testing of diverse system components.
Liaise with development and users to investigate faults.
Plan and estimate QA team tasks.
Keep up to date with modern testing strategies that could be adopted by CloudCall in order to improve product quality.
Collaborate with the QA team and Development team to keep up to date with system changes and updates.
Contribute to the ongoing education of Quality Standards in the CloudCall Engineering and Development Teams.
Analyse product specifications to create test plans to ensure the final product meets specification.
Configuring test platforms for testing and maintaining these in line with production environments.
Act as a mentor towards other members of the QA team.
Experience in the testing of complex software in a professional development organisation.
Experience working in a fast-paced, agile (Scrum) environment is desirable.
Experience in testing REST APIs.
Good understanding of industry standards and best practices.
Experience with working closely with developers in order to improve test quality and coverage within codebases.
Experience of using exploratory testing.
Knowledge and experience of integration, functional and non-functional testing.
Experience of testing CRM systems is desirable.
5+ years QA experience.
Knowledge on issue tracking systems such as JIRA and its use in an agile environment.
Good knowledge of client and server side web technologies and potential integration issues.
Demonstrable understanding of usability testing, operational testing, integration tests and cross browser testing.
Demonstrable understanding of regression testing.
Superb analytical thinking.
Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle.
Experience in Agile or V-model methodologies.
An understanding of responsive web design.
Fundamental understanding of telecoms and VoIP.
Experience of testing APIs directly using tools such as Postman.
Knowledge of performance testing.
Strong aptitude for analysis and problem solving.
Willingness to continue learning and drive yourself to be a better QA Test Analyst.
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
