Position Summary:

Under the minimal supervision of the President, Collective Bias, leads the finance function for the Inmar consumer group (including all new products developed by those companies) to ensure that revenue growth and profitability are enhanced. He/She will work closely with the business unit leader as well as the CFO to establish targets for revenue generation, cost reduction, and cash flow improvement. Specifically, he/she will evaluate and monitor revenue generation plans, prospect and client pricing issues, client profitability results, budgeted and re-forecasted revenue and expenses, cost improvement plans, and liquidity improvement initiatives. Additionally, the incumbent leads special projects of a financial nature, works regularly with client representatives (including auditors), and trains and manages associates.


Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Performs detailed analysis and forecasting activities
    • In conjunction with Sales, projects forward results based on current business trends and macro and micro economic factors
    • Coordinates with business leaders to model scenarios that enable effective planning and decision making
    • Participates in pricing model design and execution to maximize revenue creation
    • Leads projects to identify and execute continuous improvement efforts to drive savings in process and operational execution
  • Develops and Reports results against KPIs
    • Continuously evaluates business results to determined KPIs in conjunction with Business Unit President
    • Identifies and/or implements tools necessary to capture and report data
    • Educates business unit leadership on the importance of KPI-based management and helps to create a culture of accountability to results
  • Evaluates and interprets monthly financial statements
    • Performs in-depth analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts
    • Analyzes monthly and YTD operating results to write detailed explanations and comments to financial statements and variances
    • Develops and publishes monthly and quarterly corporate financial analysis for management to enable effective decision making and forward planning
    • Provides assistance to Company managers by responding to questions, ensuring their understanding of the statements and their ability to explain variances in statements and control revenue and expenses
  • Facilitates the preparation of the annual budget
  • Performs special projects as requested by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; executing projects in a timely manner
  • Provides assistance with audits and other requests for human resources information
  • Assists with coordinating and executing company events and activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred) in finance, accounting or business
  • 7 to 9 years or more experience in a finance position
  • Knowledge of finance, generally accepted accounting principles, and economic principles
  • Ability to perform detail work with numerical data and to make mathematical computation rapidly and accurately
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and manage day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong passion, high energy, and enthusiasm for solving business challenges
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must have good listening skills, be self-motivated, and have high maturity level
  • Must have demonstrated ability to appropriately handle sensitive/confidential information
  • Must be flexible, use sound judgment and be a strategic thinker
