Where you come in?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our Dublin team on a part-time basis, based in our offices 2 days a week, providing invaluable support to our team here. The successful candidate will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Provide first and second level IT support to global CurrencyFair employees
Installing, configuring and supporting computer hardware operating systems, Windows and iOS, and applications
Manage all office and employee related hardware
Managing relationship with internet providers and ensuring appropriate level of internet performance.
Outlook administrator - setting up new user accounts, profiles and dealing with password issues, management of mail groups and distribution lists
Talking staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues;
Onboarding and offboarding process improvements and implementation
Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
The ideal candidate will have:
5-10 years experience in a IT technical support/maintenance/operation role
Passion for problem-solving
Strong knowledge of Office 365, and its administration
Strong knowledge of network security
Experience of VPN and firewall management
Experience managing active directory
Experience configuring, implementing, and supporting Windows and Mac operating systems
Ability to prioritise and managing many open cases at one time;
Will need to rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers.
