Our client, one of the world’s largest insurance companies, has asked us to provide them with a super-strong Python / Flask developer for at least six months and likely longer. This consultant will work with existing experts to develop end user tools critical to success in today’s P&C insurance marketplace.

THE WORK: The work includes developing end user applications and user interfaces that combine the power of Python, Base SAS, and Microsoft Excel. The chosen consultant will be working on a highly skilled team with some of the latest decision support and web presentation technologies.
LOCATION: This client is located in the heart of Seattle, Washington- one of the coolest towns in the US. Seattle is a diverse city and home to some of the world's technology leaders, like Amazon, Boeing, and Microsoft. (If you're a coffee fan, Seattle is also the home of Starbucks!)
MODE: Contract / Contract to Hire
DURATION: The chosen consultant will be required for at least six months. This client has a history of extending strong players for multiple terms and it is likely that this role will last well beyond the end of the year and, potentially, multiple years.
REQUIRED: Applicants must be very strong in the following skills:
- Flask (including HTML and CSS)
- Microsoft Excel
DESIRED: In addition, it would be great if you had some background in:
- Base SAS
- The property and casualty insurance industry
COMPENSATION: $65 - $70 per hour inclusive of all expenses
