Applications are invited for the following vacancy in the Division of Restorative Dentistry and Periodontology department:

 

Dental Technology Lecturer (Chemistry) – Part-time, Temporary. Minimum 3 hours per week (MICHAELMAS TERM)


The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the basic chemistry unit of the chemistry module in the Junior Fresh Dental Technology programme. This is a part-time (3 hours per week) temporary role and will focus on:


 


  • Participation in the planning, development and delivery of the chemistry module for the undergraduate Degree in Dental Technology.
  • Supporting curriculum development, course delivery, providing lectures and laboratory techniques training.
  • Participation in the preparation of examinations and student assessments.

Applicants for this role must hold a minimum of a Level 8 (Honours degree) qualification in Chemistry or a Science related subject. Applicants should also have post qualification experience in their laboratory discipline. Teaching experience is desirable for this post.
