Our client a Global business in Executive education seeks to appoint a Client Director in Corporate development to professionally lead the in-country business development activities ensuring that the business maximises the revenue growth potential and the attainment of its revenue targets.


Job purpose

Professionally lead the in country business development strategy and activities for The business in the UAE, thereby ensuring that The Business achieves the maximum revenue growth targets.


Duties and responsibilities

Pro-actively pursue new targeted clients and quickly respond to new client inquiries, with sustained and frequent follow up


Manage, grow and develop key accounts, through the client relationship process, and regular account development plan reviews and updates


Successfully promote and sell the pan The Business offer, including Custom and Consulting, Open Programmes, Virtual The Business and Psychometrics


Provide Corporate Business Development with detailed client briefs, ongoing support and input into the development of high quality proposals in response to client needs


Act as the primary client contact and take overall responsibility for the quality of the client experience from the initial client engagement, need analysis inquiry, proposal qualification, formal client pitch, through to the development and review phases.


To regularly undertake and update market, industry and competitor trend reports


Professional represent and enhance The Business’s brand and reputation within the public and private sectors, through actively executing the Middle East marketing strategy and activities.


To work with others to develop and nurture strategic partnerships for the benefit of The Business


Be a productive member of the Middle East team, attending all meetings and contributing to a strong team ethic


To support the finance team with managing the targeted debtor’s days when required.


Qualifications

Masters Qualification is preferred


Qualifications include

Experience of relationship and professional service focussed business development and managing client relationships


Excellent understanding and sensitivity of regional cultural and business etiquette


Demonstrable ability to influence and manage diverse groups of people and skills to bring a project to fruition, without formal authority


Ability to engage clients, understanding their underlying needs and building effective client relationships


To be highly responsive to client needs


Good and proactive networker


Excellent presentation skills


Ability to work remotely as a team member. Self-starter, resourceful & confident decision maker


Flexible and organised – with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
