Job Title: Account Director (AD)                                                              Department: Client Services

Reports To: Client Service Director / Group AD                                 Status: Full-Time

Position Summary:

This position interfaces with the client and the client services team to provide the main day to day contact with the client providing on-going strategic direction and support on client accounts.

 

The Account Director takes ownership of the client proposals and manages and leads their own client service team (usually SAM/AM and SAE/AE) to effectively execute the client projects. 

 

Account Director as required will have access to the support of a Strategic Director, Creative Director and Creative Services Manager and the specialist resources of the Fishawack group

Basic Responsibilities:

·        Independently maintains and grows relationships with client and client company

·        Mentors, manages, and leads their client service team to ensure client deliverables are strategically on target and implemented on time and within budget

·        Primary contact between the client and internal agency team, working to ensure brand/ educational/ brand event activities effectively communicated and understood by team members

·        Has a full understanding of the clients brand, therapeutic area and brand plan objectives

·        Uses independent judgment and discretion to act as a bridge between the client and agency

·        Manages day to day client service business to ensure projects are completed on time

·        Responsible and rewarded for the sales generated by their team

·        Constantly communicates with all departments, providing necessary project updates

·        Willingness to travel to clients across the EU

Minimum Qualifications:

·        5+ years client services experience within the pharmaceutical advertising industry

·        Global/ EMEA pharmaceutical brand team experience

·        Proven ability to develop, create & present proposals to client

·        Pitch experience and proven skills

·        Must be self-motivated, professional, detail oriented, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills

·        Proven ability to support and develop a client service team
