Job Title: Associate Presentation Designer

JOB PURPOSE          

Entry-level position within Production team to elevate dynamic content of presentations in PowerPoint and other presentation media through robust graphic design practices. Designs presentations that strengthen plan/brand awareness in all agency projects and pitch materials. Ensure that production work across accounts meets Fishawack’s quality standards.


The Associate Presentation Designer is part of the team in Production called on to apply dynamic design to PowerPoint or other presentation media. Supports full ranges of Presentation Design team services under the guidance of senior team members.


Presentation Design: Execute, plan, analyze, and oversee stunning visual solutions to meet project needs.

  • According to delivery objectives and audience, executes and refines consistent, visually appealing, strategic, and innovative presentations in support of speakers’ key messages
  • Collaborates with senior Presentation Design colleagues and Creative to develop presentation templates according to theme and client branding
  • Accurately executes layouts/applies templates in PowerPoint and other presentation media
  • Designs simple to complex graphics, animations, and graphic elements
  • Meticulously proofs own work before coordination with QC team and delivery to account or brand team

Communication: Discuss the needs of the project with Presentation Design colleagues and account teams, leading to an effective outcome. Foresee potential needs and discuss ways to achieve goals.

  • Works under the direction of senior-level Presentation Designers, with meticulous attention to detail and a calm head, to deliver all collateral on brand, on time and on budget
  • Employs problem-solving skills through applying standard procedures or established practices
  • Confidently and clearly presents completed work to colleagues; consistently provides useful feedback
  • Consistently discusses background, expectations, timing, budget, and special circumstances with PMs and client service teams
  • Proactively provides input to team members to enhance project outcomes

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or other artistic major


  • 0–2 years’ experience

Special Knowledge/Skills

  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite experience
  • Solid understanding of PowerPoint and Word; skills in these programs preferred
  • Understanding of print & production process
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating solid production skills
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to superior quality
