Job Title:                    Resource Manager


The resource manager will be responsible for: Resource planning and allocation. Assigning people to projects based on their skills, previous experience, availability, and/or project budget. The resource manager will ensure that

their resources have enough capacity to deliver upcoming projects.


Key Responsibilities:


·        Business partner to Capability leaders across the organization

·        Own weekly resource allocation process for creative staff members; partnering with creative leaders and project managers to manage ebbs and flows in work

·        Analyze and distribute reporting of profitability and utilization metrics to internal stakeholders

·        Identify and validate staffing gaps, augmenting with freelance or internal staff when necessary

·        Work with HR to determine when to recruit freelance positions

·        Collaborate with Recruiting to prioritize and communicate status of requisitions based on revenue status, state of the business, and current employee structure

·        Manage freelance budget forecast on a monthly/annual basis

·        Collaborate with Resource Management team across the group to facilitate short-term interagency rotations

·        Effectively & confidentially handle employee issues


Technical Proponent

·        Seek and identify opportunities to use technology to continually streamline RM processes, data mining and reporting

·        Highly effective in using and advocating technology to connect with employees and colleagues


Expert, Innovator & Integrator

·        Proficient in resource allocation practices

·        Strong grasp of different capabilities needed for projects and employees’ skills/expertise. Provide new insights on matching employee skills with projects

·        Provides guidance on the importance of details and accurate data

·        Anticipates issues and proactively come up with strong solutions
