Your responsibilities as a Care Assistant include:

  • Delivering personal care and support for people in their homes
  • Providing companionship and empowering people to live independently at home
  • Undertaking light household duties and preparing meals
  • Observing the general well-being of the people you care for

Your qualities:

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant Care Qualification i.e. QQI Level 5 two modules (preferred)
  • Previous care experience (preferred)
  • A full EU driving licence, access to a car and a willingness to travel for work
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work alone and use initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great listening skills and empathy
  • Fluent English
  • Willingness to undertake Garda vetting and attain a fit-to-work cert
