Employee Relations and Wellbeing Administrator

Overall Purpose of Job

Support the delivery and development of IWA’s Employee Relations activities, working closely with internal departments and committees on such activities and effectively communicating and supporting the Wellbeing Agenda in IWA.

The ER/Wellbeing Administrator will contribute towards the provision of an effective, efficient, and professional service within the ER Team. The role will support the team to provide an excellent customer service, to provide frontline information and responding to initial queries from staff and managers regarding ER issues and refer them to the relevant team member or Wellbeing Service.

The ER/Wellbeing Administrator will also provide general admin support to the ER team, which will include updating databases, notetaking and arranging Wellbeing Committee meetings. The administrator will record and monitor accurate data and case notes, book meetings and supports with reports and letters. The role will primarily be to support the ER team for both ER cases and Wellbeing administration. At times when required the role will support general administration within the HR team.

Training, Experience and Qualifications

QQI Level 6 in Human Resources or similar.

Experience of providing administration support, planning, and prioritising their own workload under pressure.

Excellent IT skills and be a proficient user of the full range of MS Office apps and Outlook, with full knowledge of the use of MS Teams functionality, is essential.

Enthusiastic and personable.

Self-motivated, proactive, and organised, with an ability to work equally well as a team member and on an individual basis, using own initiative.

Experience working in a busy customer facing environment.

Play a key role within the team, communicating with employees, managers, committees, groups, individuals, external stakeholders. They must have knowledge and understanding of issues frontline staff and managements and being able to respond to queries in a sensitive manner is vital.
