Role – Telesales Representative

We are seeking an energetic and highly competitive Telesales Representative who wants to thrive within a fast paced, target driven work environment. The right candidate clearly understands the sales process and will be keen to gain knowledge on our specific industry. He/She will be an excellent communicator and comfortable presenting products and services over the phone as well as dealing with customer concerns and queries. The candidate must ensure accuracy of all customer orders while up-selling and cross-selling from our range, promotions and new products.



·        Daily inbound and outbound calls to customers (existing / new & dormant customers)

·        Drive sales of new and complimentary product ranges

·        Ad hoc phone based customer service and other sales projects as required

·        Delivery of a professional, efficient and timely standard of customer service

·        Go the “extra mile” to meet sales targets and facilitate future sales

·        Ask questions to identify customer needs effectively and maximise sales opportunities

·        Develop relationships and build rapport with our customers and business partners to ensure customer satisfaction (account management style with your own defined set of customers)

·        Build an excellent knowledge of our product portfolio and an understanding of industry trends

·        Contribute to the overall success of the sales teams through suggesting areas for improvement and opportunities for focussing new business campaigns


Essential Experience and Skills Required

·        Strong sales experience with preferably 3 years working in Food Service sector

·        Confident and professional business manner

·        Excellent communication and organisational skills

·        Self-motivated, competitive individual with drive, enthusiasm and a proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets

·        Excellent interpersonal and attention to detail skills

·        Demonstrated ability to learn product and service details and describe/explain them to customers

·        Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints effectively

·        Good working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft NAV BC365.

·        Must be fluent in English

·        Proficient in Excel and MS Office
