IVC Technologies is looking for a Level 1/Cat II Vibration Analyst in the Portland, OR / Tri-Cities, WA area.
Our Vibration Analysts are actively engaged in the delivery of our technical service efforts and work closely with our customers in solving problems and providing technical solutions. As an IVC team member you are expected to independently work on providing your technical expertise to your assigned customer accounts. As the responsible team member for servicing those customer accounts, you will be required to maintain the service requirements that have been defined for the customer. This will include controlling schedules for field/service work, collecting route based vibration data, analyzing the data, and reporting findings back to the customer in a timely manner.
When considering a candidate for our team, we look for someone who has certification in vibration analysis and ideally has training and exposure in multiple reliability technologies (infrared, ultrasound, etc). At least 3 years of field experience is required. You should have a strong understanding of electro-mechanical fundamentals and corrective actions as well as an understanding of predictive/preventative maintenance tools and techniques. A high school degree (or equivalent) is required and some college is preferred. Strong written/verbal communication is a critical requirement for this position as is the ability to speak directly and clearly to key technical and customer issues.
