Kia Motors Company Italy, National Sales Company of Kia Motors Corporation, is currently looking for a Finance Planning Specialist

The position is based in Milan.

The candidate will be employed with a permanent contract.

Purpose of the Job:

The Finance Planning Specialist, reporting to Finance Planning/Controlling Manager, will be working on the business plan process, including periodical forecasts, operating plan variance analysis, closing and special projects.

S/he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to management, including the preparation of presentations for the Management, the evaluation of new business opportunities, and other projects requested by management.

Main Responsibilities/Tasks:

S/he is responsible for the following activities:

Prepare monthly/Quarterly/Annual managerial closing reports along with budget team.

Oversee and manage the continued development of Business Plan, Financial Forecasting and Operating Plan, to facilitate a proper decision making process

Handle reporting to Headquarters on Business planning, forecasting and incentive plans

Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool

Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand company sales program such as incentive, product pricing as well as new projects

Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives

Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes

Reporting monthly Gross Profit analysis to CFO

Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance

Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales and other expenses

The ideal candidate is analytic, precise and proactive with an enquiring attitude, and is able to build valuable relationships with his/her interfaces.

Strongly goal-oriented, s/he has team working, communication and organizational skills with good organizational ability.

S/he is proficient with Office, has a good numbers’ literacy and understanding.

English – spoken and written – is a must

Degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field is a must and experience in a similar role may be preferred.
