at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Job Mission: Secure that Planning, Operation and Forecasting of RHQ CO2 emissions are in line with the European Kia Strategy and official legislations.

Your Responsibilities:

Regulations - Planning

  • Understand and analyze European/UK CO2 regulations and laws for the coming years
  • Setup a CO2 long term plan in accordance with the volume development plan
  • Interpret the impact of the regulations for our business
  • Interact with our technical center in order to understand CO2 saving technologies and the impact to the business
  • Observe ECO regulations and determine impact to our business



  • Optimize the European wide process in order to observe, analyze and forecast the achievements
  • Initiate and control necessary SAP changes for recording the performance in line with the regulations
  • Integrate CO2 measurement and planning into a pan European volume planning tool
  • Become expert and main contact point for RHQ departments/markets for the process & tools



  • Align activities according to this forecasting process within RHQ and the markets
  • Develop ideas on how to counteract to potential negative impacts/ risks of regulations

Your Profile:

  • Master degree or equivalent in quantitative driven major (e.g. math, physics, engineering, economics) 
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of CO2 regulations is an advantage
  • Experience in local markets preferred
  • Experience in cross functional projects
  • Working experience in quant-/ analytics driven subjects, preferably in automotive industry
  • Highly passionate about solving analytical problems
  • Advanced IT skills (complex spreadsheets in Excel, SAP, PowerPoint, Tableau, databases / SQL as a plus)
  • Communication/Negotiation Skills
  • Experienced in project management
  • Strong team player with an open approach to different nationalities and cultures
  • Fluent in English, any other European languages is a plus
