Mapit is an innovative IoT company, dedicated to the development of a diverse range of services based on the use of GPS locators for motorbikes. We offer advanced tracking and software solutions, connecting motorcyclists to their bikes, as well as offering a way to our clients and dealers to manage and promote their services to motorcyclists.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Research new business opportunities and drive our innovation initiatives - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets 
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones through digital solutions 
  • Recognize opportunities for distribution channels, services, and campaigns that will result in sales 
  • Understand the needs of our customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these. This involves monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses 
  • Think and work strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business, as well as carrying out the necessary planning in order to implement operational change 
  • Support brand building and communication initiatives 
  • Evangelize strategic thinking with a very hands-on and proactive approach across all teams 


  • 4+ years of business development experience (ideally in a SaaS company) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related-graduate studies are a plus (e.g.: MBA) 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Passion for the digital ecosystem and technology 
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence and drive change 
  • Good analytical skills combined with solid business judgment and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong research skills and passion to be up-to-date on what happens in the mobility industry and adjacent industries 
  • In depth understanding of large projects, clear understanding of risks and mitigations 
  • Passionate about solving problems and know how to create a clear plan of action to simplify complex issues 
  • You have a whole business vision that allow you to think in long term
