Summer Intern Programme
Why choose MHC for graduate opportunities?
We are focused on finding exceptional trainees who will ultimately become the future lawyers and leaders of our firm.
We believe that the best way to learn is from real world experience. At MHC, you have the opportunity to start developing your career from day one. Our Summer Intern Programme will provide you with the opportunity to experience our culture, interact with our lawyers and give you a taste of life as a trainee lawyer.
Who should apply?
We welcome applications for our Summer Intern Programme from anyone that has completed at least two years of an undergraduate or graduate degree in any discipline. Postgraduate students or those who have completed their studies are also welcome to apply, including those who have work experience and have already completed FE-1s.
The four week paid internship is our primary means of recruiting future trainees, a method that we think benefits everyone, as the Summer Intern Programme gives us the opportunity to get to know you and see if you are the right fit for a traineeship with MHC.
We retain approximately 90% of trainees as qualified solicitors once they complete their training contracts.
Benefits for you
As an intern, you will:
- Interact with lawyers at all levels both professionally and socially
- Contribute to high-profile cases
- Gain an insight into the daily life of trainees, associates and partners

If you are offered a traineeship following your internship, we will pay your Law Society fees and a competitive salary while you are at Blackhall Place.
