This role can be based out of Clearwater, FL or San Francisco, CA.
NinjaRMM is looking for a Marketing Coordinator with a take-charge attitude and excellent attention to detail to assist with event planning, email marketing, social media, digital campaign setup, webinar production, customer marketing and much more. This position reports to the North America Marketing Manager and will be a core part of our marketing team.
We’re looking for someone who is experienced and passionate about demand generation and eager to keep learning! We need someone who is comfortable working in a closely measured environment where quantifiable results are the primary goal. Experience in a similar, demand generation role that requires handling start-to-finish project logistics and campaign promotion is preferred. The ideal candidate has a strong “sales” orientation (in addition to your marketing know-how) characterized by exceptional interpersonal skills, determination, and independence.
What You’ll Do
Oversee event logistics. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be comfortable leading the charge on planning, execution, and follow-up of different events month to month (such as trade shows, roadshows, or webinars). There are tools that assist with some of this work, but ultimately, you’ll be the go-to person for everything from scheduling itineraries to distributing leads to the sales team.
Promote all the exciting happenings. Promotion is a non-stop activity in this role. You will plan out social posts, emails, and sales cadences for content, product releases, brand awareness, and events and be able to present on the analytics month over month to help us continuously improve. You will make sure that our prospects/customers know what’s going on with Ninja and also enlist the help of the whole Ninja team in spreading the word.
Automate automate automate. As a software tool that maximizes efficiency, we try to practice what we preach in marketing. This means automating as much as possible so you can spend time on the tasks that require more attention. You’ll be comfortable with repeating (and occasionally writing!) processes so that our work is consistent and gets easier over time. You should have experience working in sales/marketing tools like Salesforce, Pardot (or other marketing automation tools), Drift, SalesLoft, Wordpress, and/or Hootsuite.
Make friends. Our technology partners are key to continuing our growth - both in marketing and as a company. You’ll participate in regular calls with some of our partners and get to know the go-to people on other teams to facilitate webinars, sponsored content, and updating them on Ninja news. You’ll also work with our external team members (such as designers, web developers, and consultants) on a regular basis.
Keep us organized. We track everything we do very closely - whether that’s how many leads an event generated or how many t-shirts we have in inventory, you’ll play a big part in continuing that organization through your role. You’ll assist with replenishing our swag inventory, reviewing spend and quarterly budgets (as well as maintaining expenses and tracking down receipts), and helping to maintain our collection of resources.
Who You Are
Excellent Communicator. We know, we know - everyone says this, but it really is so important to have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will send a lot of emails (internal and external), place the occasional phone call, and occasionally present on analytics to the team. This is a must-have.
Obsessively Organized and Productive. An effective demand generation program requires relentless attention to detail and lots of coordination. If you have a penchant for getting stuff done--maybe you’ve even read the book a few times--we want to hear from you.
Extroverted. There are always exceptions to the rule, but people who thrive in this position are outgoing and not afraid to send a “cold” email or phone call. Engagement is the name of this game, and you’re always willing to step up to the plate, take on a new project, and work with others to get the job done.
Self-Starter. Each member of our team wears a variety of hats, and we want to know that you’re willing to take on things outside of your regular assignments, or that you’ll go out and learn about a new tactic/program (and then teach us about it!). You’re the kind of person who takes action and ownership (instead of waiting to be told what to do).
Endlessly Energetic and Efficient. It’s hard work keeping track of so many moving pieces. Sometimes you check off your entire to-do list before lunch; other times your morning pivots and you end up on a completely different project. We’re looking for someone who can manage their own time and projects while also jumping on other assignments quickly without getting derailed or losing track of priorities.
