Social Factor is growing and we’re looking for a full-time Senior Data Analyst to sit onsite with one of our key clients. This role will drive consistency in strategic thinking and insights across our client’s engagements by helping lay the groundwork and contribute to the day-to-day reporting needs for our client, serving as a central expert for internal and external cross-capability teams. The Senior Data Analyst will have a proactive eye for evolving recommended approaches for client reporting strategies while providing guidance and direction for accurate and consistent reporting across the enterprise. To be successful in this role, you would have an appreciation for accuracy and consistency, and a knack for understanding data and telling the story of why it matters. 

"A day in the life of" will include:

  • Maintaining Enterprise standard KPI’s
  • Keeping a pulse on day-to-day performance data, including display media, site, search, email, and/or social campaigns
  • Working in a variety of reporting systems and databases for the creation of recurring reports and dashboards
  • Identifying nuances in data to optimize our client's business
  • Supporting marketing initiatives across project and campaign lifecycles, including measurement plans, primary and secondary research, and performance reporting
  • Refining social media analytics and governance solutions in order to meet business needs
  • Reviewing social media monthly and quarterly insight reports, competitor analysis, social media campaign reports, reviews, and making strategic recommendations
  • Quickly responding to ad-hoc report requests, and requests for strategic guidance
  • Interpreting data into non-technical language for non-insights specialists and delivering social media analytics, and insights with recommendations
  • Delivering platform updates with clear recommendations 
  • Collaborating with and guiding internal junior data analysts  
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for software tool vendors to perform auditing and liaising with internal teams
  • Supporting client, partner and vendor relationships in collaboration with the greater Social Factor team 
  • Collaborating with the team to track and measure the success and business impact of all efforts  


Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in social media insights and strategy
  • Experience creating social media reports and report design
  • Experience using and setting up Brandwatch (or similar social listening tool), including knowledge of boolean query language and ability to refine queries to focus on the right data
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Experience using Sprinklr, Khoros, or similar social media tools.
  • Experience with Powerpoint

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of analytical business experience
  • 5+ or more years working in the social media industry, particularly with insights, strategy or analytics
  • High energy with the proven ability to manage initiatives to successful completion
