Sales Associate/Event Designer
Tasty Catering is adding to the Tasty Family!
We are seeking an Sales Associate/Event Designer to add to our Special Events Sales Team. The ideal candidate exhibits outstanding communication and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Sales Associate/Event Designer job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Assist clients in planning catering for a variety of events, such as weddings, social, corporate, receptions, picnics, holiday parties, etc.
Create proposals for clients based on their vision, which include menu choices, bar service, equipment, rental items, and staffing
Work with rental partners in linen, china, decor, floral, entertainment, and other
Coordinate flow of communication and details of each event between sales team, kitchen staff, and operations team to ensure smooth execution of events
Participate in client prospecting, networking, cold calls, and other sales techniques to build and maintain client base
Design timelines, layouts and production schedules to streamline events
Collaborate with marketing to build strategic plans to promote affiliated venues with social media and marketing materials
Assist clients to develop budgets, and negotiate services with vendors and suppliers
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venues, and strategic partners
