Job Overview


The CronosGroup Team is looking to hire qualified Senior Financial Analysts to join our team. This position supports development and usage of business analytics for the various operational units. Works with development partners, IT and key stakeholders to provide timely and impactful reporting and analytic tools to the organization.


Responsibilities


Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc.) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing

Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance

Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks

Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis

Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models

Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis

Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts

Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope

Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function

Builds and maintains financial reports in the Company’s financial reporting information system

Assists in the design, development and maintenance of automated financial reports and dashboards for internal management, providing accurate and timely financial and operational recommendations.

Extracting, combining, and summarizing data to analyze the financial impact of new initiatives, and effectively communicating key findings to senior leadership to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions

Developing metrics and reports to provide controllership to new programs

Supports ad hoc analysis and special projects


Supervisory Responsibilities


Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. 

Serves as a coach and mentor for employees within division.


Qualifications


Entry level,Bachelor’s degree from a College or University or three to five years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Degree in Finance, Information Technology or Accounting preferred. 

Advanced Excel skills required.

Experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion preferred.

May required to have a valid driver’s license.
