We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Sourcing & Contracting Manager to lead our Buyer team to close the best possible deals and partnerships with our worldwide suppliers.


This is a high impact, business critical role for WeRoad: your work and the work of your team will help us create the best possible travel experience for the thousands of WeRoaders who travel with us each year.


What you'll do:


  • Manage and lead each member of the Buyer team, from mentoring and coaching to KPI setting and performance monitoring
  • Lead negotiations for strategic suppliers and develop key business partnerships
  • Source the best services, deals, pricing, and conditions with a "shark" attitude
  • Actively contribute to defining the mid- and long-term strategic direction of the Product team
  • Meet and exceed cost savings and process efficiency targets while maintaining a high standard of product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Be on the forefront of the supply market, staying up to date on evolving trends in different spend categories and geographies


What we're looking for:


  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a negotiation or contracting role
  • You have a strong interest and network in the tourism industry; experience in tourism or a travel agency (also abroad) is a plus
  • You have strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
  • You can actively run day-to-day sourcing priorities while maintaining a strategic approach
  • You are results-driven and have an analytical approach
  • You are fluent in Italian and have conversational English skills
